About Me
I am an Associate Professor (non-tenured) in the Department of Management Science at the Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. I earned my Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Institute of Operations Research and Analytics (IORA) at the National University of Singapore in 2022, under the joint supervision of Chung-Piaw Teo and Xiaobo Li. Prior to my doctoral studies, I obtained an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering from the South China University of Technology in 2017, and a B.Eng. in Environmental Engineering from the Ocean University of China in 2011.
Between 2011 and 2014, I also gained three years of valuable industry experience working as a civil engineer in the construction sector.
My research interests lie at the intersection of data-driven decision making, pricing, and revenue management. Specifically, my current research focuses on the design and pricing of product bundles and ancillary services, with a keen interest in accounting for complex customer choice behaviors. This line of research is mainly motivated by, and applied to, real-world challenges in the aviation industry. Additionally, I am enthusiastic about exploring Operations Research (OR) applications in energy, sustainability, and social good.
